Caroline Ritter and Andrew Porters threw down the intergalactic gauntlet by getting married in the TCL Chinese Theater's courtyard yesterday, where they'd been waiting in line to see the movie for 12 days.

The Australian couple was considering Star Wars-themed nuptials when they heard that the historic theater wanted to host a wedding tied to the premiere to raise money for the Starlight Children's Foundation, Entertainment Weekly reported. Since they were planning to go to Los Angeles for the premiere anyway, they jumped at the chance for a super-special wedding.

In fact, several characters made an appearance. Darth Vader accompanied Ritter down the aisle as a violinist played the Imperial March.
