Ann Carli, the film's producer, recalled how she discovered a writer named Shonda Rhimes, who came to write the film's script.
MAYBE YOU'VE HEARD OF HER?? Carli read a spec script of Rhimes' that was a "retelling of Antigone set in an African American town in the 1930s."

Carli also recalled how sweet and down-to-earth Britney Spears was, and that despite her elaborate contract, she only ever requested two things: tuna Lunchables and edamame.
Her Majesty Britney Spears didn't even want coffee waiting for her when she got to set in the mornings, she told Carli, "I don't mind. I actually like going in and getting to decide."
