Spoiler alert: gaffer’s tape hurts like hell!
By now, you've probably seen this picture of Kim Kardashian's boobs covered in tape. But it's actually not a sexy Home Depot ad. It's her "cleavage secret!"
Basically, Kim uses gaffer's tape (typically used by production crews to tape down cables) as a makeshift over-the-shoulder bra to make her boobs appear perkier in plunging necklines.

You may be asking yourself, "Does that actually work?!" Well, we wondered the same thing, so we made it our mission to find out.
We spoke to dermatologist Dr. Michele Green to determine how safe this actually is. She stated that the tape "could potentially be irritating depending on how sensitive your skin is and how long you leave the tape on. The longer you leave it on and the more sensitive, the more it can irritate it."
She also told us that there shouldn't be any permanent damage, "provided you are not too irritated. However, if you have dark skin and get very irritated you could potentially get hyperpigmentation which might lasts months and be difficult to treat." With Dr. Green's advice, we set out to get red carpet boobs!
